What this covers
This policy explains how we handle the CVs, resumes, cover letters and supporting documents ("application documents") you provide to us.
How we process documents
When you upload application documents, we use them to:
- Understand your experience, skills and suitability for roles
- Build an anonymised professional summary for confidential market presentation
- Match you to relevant opportunities and talent pools
- Present you to specific employers — only with your consent for that opportunity
Storage and security
Application documents are stored securely and access is restricted to Altera personnel involved in your representation. We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect them.
Anonymisation
Before any information is made visible to employers in our portal, identifying details — your name, contact details, address and similar — are removed. Employers see only an anonymised professional summary until you consent to the release of your full details.
Retention and deletion
Application documents are retained in line with our Data Retention Policy. You may ask us to update, replace or delete your documents at any time, subject to legal limits.
